Ashly is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where she earned a bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications. She also completed several certification courses in Meeting and Event Planning where she learned the fundamentals of successfully executing various meetings and events. Throughout her college experiences she developed her passion for event planning by coordinating numerous events for her sorority and other campus organizations. Her real learning experience was gained throughout her two-year internship with The Outback Bowl, one of the largest and most respected college football games in the country. "Beginning my coordinating career with an event of over 65,000 people prepared me to take on any challenge this career may have to offer."
Since then, Ashly has coordinated many spectacular events and beautiful weddings of all sizes. This year, Ashly was hired to coordinate the annual market party for Brides Magazine and Brides.com; an event that was attended by over 400 of the top industry professionals throughout the state of Florida. Olivier Events was selected as a 2010 Pick for 'Best of Weddings' by The Knot. Olivier Events was also included in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style's 2010 Platinum List. Members of this invitation-only directory are granted membership based on the style of their work, the quality of their services and a sincere commitment to excellence and customer service. Ashly's work has been published as a "Real Wedding" in one of the largest wedding magazines on news-stands today. She has also been quoted in several bridal publications and featured as an "Expert" in various wedding-related articles. Olivier Events is highly recommended to brides, grooms, and corporate clients by many of the area's top vendors and venues.
Continuous education and staying current with the latest industry trends is something that Ashly prides herself on. In recent years, Ashly has attended some of the most well-known seminars in the country geared towards professionals in the event industry. Such events include the Cater Source conference, the Engage'08! Symposium and the National NACE Experience. Ashly has had the honor of meeting several industry icons and personal role models including: world-renown event designer, Preston Bailey; the "Queen of Cakes," Sylvia Weinstock; famed event planner, Marcy Blum; and Grace Ormonde, of Wedding Style Magazine.
